The skin measures 110cm. Kyrgyzstan is a mountainous country in Central Asia with approx. 5 million inhabitants who primarily make a living from agriculture. Sheep breeding forms an important part of their agricultural production. The two most common sheep breeds are tien shan and pamir, however the merino sheep has also been introduced in Kyrgyzstan and many crosses between the breeds have occurred. Most skins bear the hallmark of merino wool and are soft and delicious and are available in many natural color shades. The skins may have a few stitches on the back, but nothing that can be seen or felt on the fur side.
